Less than 24 hours to go . . .

My last day in America . . . I'm almost packed and ready to go. A couple more wardrobe decisions, a run to the pharmacy and a few hours at work and I should be ready to go. I'm totally stressed about work, that I won't have done everything I should do before I leave (good news - I remembered to pay both April and May rent already!!) or have packed appropriately, and that I will miss my flight (cab is picking me up at 4 am!), but I am gradually reaching a state of resignation. I can take care of just about everything back here via internet, I can buy stuff I need there and the Bureau will survive without me. I just can't wait to be locked on that plane and have no reason to worry because there will be nothing I can do about anything at that point. Sweet lack of responsibility!! I haven't had much time or energy to think about missing all of you, but that's starting to creep in too. Don't hesitate to post or email me (mcarney11@aol.com or mcarney11@gmail.com) anytime. My sister's apartment has internet access so I'll be able to check in every day that I'm staying in London - which will be most of the days I'm gone. I can't wait to get out of here!!!!!!! :)
