Day 4

Went to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge . . . and then my camera battery died. :( So nothing particularly interesting here (if the slideshow works - is yesterday's working? it works on my computer). I did get a little juice out of the batteries for a couple quick shots of the flags and crown toppers they have along on of the streets to Buckingham Palace. Big marathon Sunday so they're making things pretty . . . and I won't be going downtown that day. Maybe Dover? Mo and I had super yummy dinner at a pub just off Trafalgar Square last night (Silver Cross?). Still haven't tried my first European Guinness - I'm working up to it. I have enjoyed a couple of Kronenberg's though. Probably much more my (watery-beer) style. Oh, gotta remember to tell y'all about the Benjamin Franklin house but I have to run. Last day of the London Pass so I need to see as many things as possible to get my money's worth!

Yea! Slide shows working. The day 4 pic didn't work on my computer, but I am sure the slide show covers it. Looks like you had some sun on day 2--great luck! I really think you and Mo should go to the 1/2 price ticket booth for "Wicked" tickets--great show! Dover is interesting--especially if you get some decent weather. Take the tour of the WWII stuff there. Had any fish and chips yet?

Wow Georgous pics. I forgot how good you were at taking pictures.

was that Paddington the bear?

Looks like day 4 was little more typical. At least you don't have to worry about wearing sunscreen.

I can't belive you hadn't had a guiness yet? What are you waiting for woman? It is better over there. See if you can find Kilkenny (a beer I loved in Ireland) you might like that. How are the fish n chips? I'm sure you had those, right?
