Day 2 - Geevagh

Today, I drove outside Sligo to the village of Geevagh - the birthplace of my grandfather, Patrick Kearney. I had no luck finding his baptismal record, but it was nice to see where he was born and raised even though I never got to meet him. Interestingly, the village reminds me a lot of my hometown, where my Dad ended up after my grandfather passed away. Too bad he didn't make it to Hadley - I think he would have liked it!
